Blue Ginger Pho in Tehachapi

This place is a rip off. I ordered pho with extra tripes. They charged me $2.50 and got 2 extra pieces. I mentioned it to their staff who doesn’t seem to care.

Always loved this place. If you haven't tried pho it's an insanely delicious soup and under 10 bucks for a large bowl. Drinks are great, it comes highly recommended for its low price, consistant quality and quick service.

My favorite Oriental style food in Tehachapi.

New (ish) menu, still yummy meals, good service. Tried "Drunken Noodles" which I had never tasted, after the server described it to me. Nose-running level of spicy sauce, but all the flavors of each ingredient still came through, basil, chicken, beef, shrimp, carrot, broccoli. Very satisfying food.

My mom and I stopped here on our way to Arizona! My mom had never had Pho and she is in love with it now! The boba was amazing as was the chow mein! Had huge fresh veggies and amazing chicken! Great service and beautiful restaurant! Can't wait to go again!!!

In my opinion this little establishment serves the best Pho in the United States. Great service.

The food was phenomenal and the service was even better. We were about 3 hours from home and stopped to get some pho because we were craving it. We were 100% okay with enjoying the to go order in the car but when they saw us eating in the car they brought us sodas and extra forks and plates. It was so sweet and we were so appreciative of it. They were so sincere. Great experience!

I think I'm very afraid of this restaurant, the reason I think customer have to understand, in the boss shop just want to open the dark light restaurant, the reason for some customers to eat in noodle soup with cockroaches , yes the restaurant has a lot of small cockroaches, guests think is dry onions, but there are also few big cockroaches that are discovered by guests. Do you know why the restaurant staff are eating lunch in the communal noon?, because the staff do not dare to eat the beef, chicken, shrimp marinated in the BORAX and the MSG, I know you like our noodle soup and Vietnamese food , but you are careful with toxins (BORAX) of the soldering and MSG.

The boba is amazing and quick to prepare

Food was always great toll we had an issue with mildew cups... The waiter replaced. Them with to go cups but turned us off knowing that cups were sitting long enough to grow mildew on the bottom which would have another cup inside of that.

Great food new menu it's great and the most friendly and efficient service,had try most dishes the restaurant has to offer and they all been delicious, great quality food and very affordable, I highly recommend it, you should definitely try it.

Bad service, they have a lot customers only because they have only one asian soup in Tehachapi.We don't eat here again, because we found a huge roach in our food, I have a picture to prove it, I tried pubishing but pigs keep taking it down.

I would compare the Pho in this place to anything I had in Seattle or elsewhere. This is high quality stuff. The Brisket/Meatball Combo is my favorite bowl of Pho. Its general menu is great too. The fried rice is exceptional; egg rolls fantastic. Always good service and quality ingredients. I wouldnt expect such a place to exist in Tehachapi, but it's a gem within that small town. Definitley worth a visit.

First time com here from Nevada, and I be here with 3 other friends. The food is okie, the service is so fast, the gentleman he did a good job, he can do the host, food runner, waiter, cashier, pick up order on phone and he make a good smoothies for my wife, the restaurant have a good pricing, we really like the server very friendly, and he give us a lot of good suggestion

Who knew you could find good, authentic pho in the middle of the desert.

I was looking forward to eat vegan soup but there is no vegetables or vegan broth . Only beef or chicken. So I had a veggie with rice. It was good.

Passing through, saw a decently rated Pho restaurant so I stopped in for lunch. Food (spring rolls and Beef Pho) was fresh, quick and very good. I would definitely come back!

First time eating at this restaurant and the Pho was awesome. Got the #4, prices went up, which is understandable due to the economy, but well worth it. Also had the spring rolls which were delicious as well, as shown in the picture. Totally recommend.

We haven't eaten in and always taken it with us, but the broth and noodles in the pho are delicious. The staff is always friendly and it is a clean and nicely decorated place. And the prices are pretty reasonable.

Food is better under new management

This place has need on closed down at least 3 times for poor sanitation, no hot water, and lots of roaches

Visiting my friend in town and we went in to eat some food. Had an interesting experience here honestly. Staff was nice at the beginning, food came out fast, it’s was good, not the best ever but good for the time. The young girl taking our order was extremely attentive and would check on everyone in the small restaurant. The other people operating honestly seemed lost at times and would argue in front of house with each other. Any business establishment should know better to not do that! At the end of our visit the young girl from the beginning was crying and still pushing through to ring guests up. Be aware of how you treat your staff, regardless of who is watching. I wouldn’t go back here because of this. The young lady saved the whole experience for us honestly.

Great food, service and pricing

This has always been a go-to for our family, but they changed recently and made it even better. Pork spring rolls with peanut sauce are wonderfully seasoned. Sound odd? Try them and you'll see what I mean. The Pho actually improved. Just when you think nothing could improve on an already complex flavored soup, they made that happen too. It is hard to pinpoint, but it's like they managed to add a slightly nutty profile that adds to the finish. Sesame perhaps? If you're a Pho fan and are in the AV or Bakersfield, make the trip. And, right after, check out the other destination location just south of there- Veritas Wine and Tapas. Tehachapi seems to have some real gems to offer.

Great Pho and the service is fast and friendly! Good pricing for the quality of food you're getting. Oh and the gentleman who serves here is super friendly and gives good suggestions on what to order. I'll be coming back for more.

Was really craving boba tea, but with Tehachapi being limited on sources, I didnt set my expectations too high. The thai tea was great, but it was extremely heavy on the ice. Also wasn't really expecting the peach flavored popping bubbles when I ordered (vs the traditional boba). It was okay, but definitely not worth the 5$s for a cup of ice.

Nice clean food options for vegetarians. Pho was ok, not so authentic, but that was probably because it was vegetarian broth. Egg rolls were good but no fresh veggies, was expecting more of a traditional experience but did not get that here.

Excellent place, flavor is on point, quality is perfect, could not ask for more from a hole in the wall pho joint.

Closed by the health department for cleanliness and Roaches. Not sure when they reopen.Edit: I am told there is new management. It supposedly is very clean inside. I was also told you get a free beverage with your meal. I still have not made it inside yet.

Not the freshest food Ive eaten lately. Would not recommend this establishment to anyone. I am sorry.
